This mantle comes from my soul and my collection of vintage Japanese kimono pieces, vintage buttons and findings and many silk ribbons and threads. The combination of these textiles generates a meditative process in which beautiful garments are born. They in turn become a message to my own self-discovery and rapture of being an “outrageous older woman” who loves to create and wear such expressive body coverings.
