Statement

Victor Borge said that “humor is the shortest distance between two people.” A person can be in a foreign country, not speak the language, and yet see the humor in things. While in Demark, I went to the circus and laughed right along with everyone else. Humor can break down many barriers, if given a chance. We all need to laugh more and lighten our hearts. For years, I collected funny sayings on small pieces of paper. A few years ago, I was able to build a studio on my house. The blank bathroom walls were the perfect place to exhibit my collection. Now I can share them with those who need relief. My grandson recently paid me the best compliment by saying that he liked me because I told good jokes. Remember, laugh lines are beautiful.
