| Statement
When the mantle project was first proposed to the members of the North Shore Weavers Guild, I was immediately captured. Over the past two years, I’ve thought a lot about the mantle making many statements. Black and white describe my appearance and thoughts, little room for gray. Buttons recall memories of special occasions, pearls stand for some of my “Pearls of Wisdom” collected over the years and the colorful lining represents all the color I have inside me that I’m challenged to bring out in an artistic way. * Reach for the Moon – you’ll land in the Stars! * When you feel good – notify your face. * I’ve always wanted to be somebody – now I see I should have been more specific! * Make it new, beautiful, and oddly pure.
