Statement
In today’s computer world, we all have an on-line presence. But does that on-line presence really state who we are, or is it masking the real “us”? To the world we can seem to be Beautiful, Rich, Sociable, an Advocate, Knowledgeable, Popular, Loving, Interested, Pretty, Smart, just to name a few. But who we really are can be the opposite: Lonely, Cruel, a Snob, Uncaring, Self-centred, Lazy, Ugly, Uneducated, Scared, Vulnerable, and Stupid. This is NOT a personal statement as some thought at first. This is a general statement about how easy it is for us, in this digital age, to be able to put on a mask to the world about who we really are. |
