Statement

You have to have fun, but you have to know how,
chasing away rain is the task for us now.

A bumbershoot steady, fine fast and true,
and colors to keep us from feeling too blue.

An electrician spouse adds wire with ease,
with turns, twists, and kafoodles to tempt and to tease.

This parasol threatens to open, not close,
with gaudiness rivaling The Emperorís new clothes.

Not destined for rain or sun, shelter or shade,
this umbrellaís true purpose splendiferously made,

With baubles and bangles on wires one and wires two,
it makes a perfect companion for me and for you.

A rollicking, frolicking contraption begun,
as a cousin of Whos, Truffulas, and Fun.
