Problem - construct an Umbrella/Parasol using textile techniques. Your umbrella/parasol can be inspired by poetry, a song, a movie, art culture or a memory. Your piece must collapse and fit into a designated container.

Process & Development - Keep a sketchbook/journal, recording your creative process. Research, sketch, journal and photo document your work along the way. Each artist will write a statement describing your inspiration and process to be exhibited alongside your work.
