Problem - Birds of our imagination and the places they dwell is a theme for the development of one of two alternative presentations. Your piece may be either 20x4o two dimensional, cloth two sided piece to fit into a cloth container store coat garment bag #471280 OR a sculptural piece that fits into a 19 3/4 x15 3/4 x 8 plastic container
# 10050818 also from the container store. Your bird may be Imagined, Natural or Symbolic.

Process & Development - Keep a sketchbook/journal, recording your creative process. Re- search, sketch, journal and photo document your work along the way. Each artist will write a statement describing your inspiration and process to be exhibited alongside your work.

November 3-6, 2016, Chicago Botanic Garden. Opening, Thursday, November 3, 6:30-9pm.

January 29, 2017 to March 3, 2017, Anderson Art Center. Opening, January 29, 2017, 1-4pm.

March 18-26, 2017 Chicago Flower & Garden Show.
