Treasure – my great aunt Rose Remus was a seamstress for Al Baskin in Joliet. She attended Joliet Township High School. I have her workbook from her Dressmaking and Art class in 1927. I traced some of her patterns onto fabric and embroidered the pattern.
Structure – an old sewing box I deconstructed.
Expression – each line of her patterns and her pattern notes were beautiful to embroider. I had a piece of history at my fingertips.
