Statement

When your world turns dark, where do you go for support, comfort, stability, and inspiration: Family, friends, religion, meditation, nature, or the gym?

Today, there are so many dark places all over the world. For many, the way forward to a better, or even minimally adequate, life appears almost impossible. Yes, there are many people, organizations, religions, and governments making efforts to combat forces of evil, ignorance, and the downsides of nature. We need to hear more about their successes.

My pathway out of misery and frustration usually leads to the outdoors and a connection with the beauty and majesty of the natural world. Although not indestructible, there is something very solid and reassuring about a mountain or the return of spring.

This wearable cape depicts a path leading up a mountain to a place of majesty, comfort, and hopefully, enlightenment. With restored peace, energy, and resolve we hope to be able to find pathways to improve our lives and make contributions to the common good.
