Problem - design a coat, a jacket or cape, using any textile technique that is inspired by something that blooms.
Process & Development - Steps involve: selecting a blossom that inspires you. Deciding between coat, cape, or jacket. Visualizing a finished piece and selecting a technique (dye, paint, print, stamp, transfer, weave, felt, bead, quilt, appliqué, stitch), selecting a fabric (cotton, silk, wool, synthetic), thinking through your processes, creating and fitting your pattern, then constructing a garment that communicates your inspiration.
