Statement
An old song said, “A rainbow round my
shoulders makes me happy!” Further, I love rainbows! Their beauty
reminds me of God’s promise of hope and I love using them in my art.
This garment gives me that rainbow—in flowers on green vines. Taken separately, the colors mean many
things to me. Red is a symbol for courage and recently has come to
symbolize my new-found “sisters” in the Red Hat Society. Violet or purple, though, in all its many hues is my favorite color! Friends consider it my signature and I was delighted to find that it is part of official Red Hat Society gear. |
