When presented with the challenge of creating a ROBE, my first impulse was “soft and cozy? The vision grew to “fluffy and pink” and pink conjured up FLAMINGOES. Ah Ha! Joy! Joy lives in Texas and is true to her name. A most flamboyant woman who unabashedly houses hundreds of pink flamingos in every form from salt and pepper shakers to a fully decorated Flamingo Christmas Tree. This rare collection is tastefully and pleasantly displayed and it too is a joy. When Joy is fully prepared for bed she refers to it as being “puffed”. So what could be more appropriate than a fluffy pink robe? Alas ODE TO MISS JOY was born-complete with the “bling” and flamboyant whimsy of the lady who inspired it-JOY.
