Statement

When I started this project I had a bad attitude.  I thought five WJIF projects were enough already! Although I agreed to participate I resisted, ignored and procrastinated. Then the world changed. I felt that we were being pulled down into a quagmire of apprehension and negativity.  What to do? I decided to step back and explore the connection between what we think and what we get. This quilt is the product of my research---AND in the process of making it I changed my attitude.

The front of the quilt is made of silk letters that I foundation pieced onto paper. On the back are quotes that I printed onto silk using a photo transfer process.
