Alice Jenks |
||||
Alice Jenks uses embroidery, beading and numerous other needle art techniques to create interesting fiber art works, whether in the form of clothes or "objects d'arte." She finds the broad range of skill helps satisfy her creative expressions. Plus, as she says, “I can work at my own designs in my own time.” Jenks also is another of the group that has a lifelong involvement with fiber, having learned to sew when eight years old (her mother taught her). Jenks’ work has won awards and she exhibits in numerous shows. In addition, she sells many of her pieces and accepts commission work. |
