Statement
I am a weaver, so I wove my shift. After 41 years of living in a house, my husband, my loom and I moved into a condo overlooking Lake Michigan. My loom faces the lake and I can Iook at the lake while I weave. One of my greatest joys is watching the lake. It is constantly changing. The colors of the water change. Patches of snow and ice dot the surface in winter. I love all its colors and moods. I have tried to weave them into my shift. I have woven Lake Michigan. |
