Statement
My impressions of an umbrella are many and varied: An Englishman using one as a cane A woman carrying one as a weapon The thank-you gift for membership in the Chicago Botanic Garden An oversized one that golfers carry in their bag A complimentary one at the door of hotels, ships and restaurants One used to provide shade for those sensitive to the sun One folded in a woman’s purse - just in case Umbrellas made for your enjoyment I can’t think that anyone would be interested in how I made this umbrella. Suffice it to say one might confirm that after a rain, for which we use an umbrella, we often see a rainbow. And perhaps a pot of gold. The rain is most helpful in making flowers. |
