"Where Do Birds Live?"

Ask any preschooler, or even a senior for that matter, where do birds live ? and most will automatically say, “In a tree”.
But wait what about the:
Penguins who live on the ice or in a hole in the ground?
Many birds create their homes on a pile of stones or rocks.
The chimney swift constructs his home using sticky saliva to attach sticks to the wall inside the chimney.
The stork piles his sticks on top of the chimney!
Some very social birds like purple martins prefer apartment homes.
Eagles seek the solitude of very tall trees or rocky mountain tops.
Others live in rookeries with thousands of neighbors.
Lotus birds are at home on floating platforms they construct from the
leaves of water plants.
And on and on it goes.
Birds, their homes, lives and behaviors are FASCINATING.
Birds are BEAUTIFUL.
Birds are AMAZING.
So where do birds live? Birds live EVERYWHERE!
