Statement
We cover our bodies for protection from the weather and other
outside forces with jackets, capes or coats. We mask our feelings and
emotions by changing facial expressions, and yet our appearance is still
transparent.
Paradoxically, under blooming botanicals
lie roots, dirt, and fertilizer. Unlike people, their expressions don't
alter. When flowers bloom and grow, so does hope!
My cape, made using photo transfer
processes onto plastic, represents the silent expression of botanicals in
the deepest serenity that life holds. |
