| Statement
I enjoy all things about gardens so when I needed to create a
garment with a botanical theme I knew exactly what to do—I would make a

easy, straight forward task that would be a venue for the skills I’ve
learned in sewing, quilting and collaging. But just as the path of life
can be twisty and rocky so it was with this project. More than once I hit
a dead end and turned around so I could make a new start. But when I’m
limping down the path of art, or even life, my friends and family are the
support to keep me going. I spent many hours dyeing, quilting and
