Statement
It seems that no matter where I go or what I do, I always end up with a credit card type item. They get sent to me in the mail; they let me into my hotel room while traveling; they get given to me as gifts. For me, most of the cards have some sort of memory attached to them: a coffee shared with my daughter, a trip to some interesting place, junk mail that needed to have something else done with it besides being tossed in the garbage. I have taken a number of these cards and turned them into something which could be more useful – an apron. An apron is something that can be used to protect your clothing. I wanted to take something that would normally be thrown out and repurpose it, protecting my clothing with all its different memories. |
