Problem - Design a purse using any textile technique of your choosing that tells something about your personality or that of someone you select, (i.e. ... a celebrity, friend, relative). Your project should measure between 8.5" L x 3-4" W x 10.5" H (smallest) to 14" L x 5-8" W x 18" H (largest), these dimensions include handles.

Process & Development - Purses, how do we perceive them? As a fashion statement? As a communication device? What is their form or function? How do we use them? How do different cultures see or use the purse? Who has carried them over the centuries and how or why? What are other names for purses?  Make some notes about how you feel about the purse and materials you might use to construct your project.
